Reviewing for the Final can be overwhelming! Do a little bit at a time...5-10 minutes a night. Use your time wisely! If you finish your work in another class, ask to get on the computer and do a USA Test Prep or Study Stack. Use your people...Moms, Dads, Friends, Grandparents, etc. Have them quiz you!
1. Standards Checkoff Sheets
Use these checkoff sheets to test yourself. What boxes haven't you checked off? Find the Country/Region on my website, review the powerpoints, study stacks, map games, etc. and then retest yourself. Have your parents read off the statements to you and explain that standard to them...then check it off!
Vocabulary, Vocabulary, Vocabulary! Go to the different Countries/Region Tabs and do one or two study stacks a night. Review the maps and play the map games for each region as well. The Final Review Study Stack below has all the vocabulary words from the year...happy studying! : ) If there is time in another teachers room, use the resources below to review the maps.
I have assigned practice benchmarks to each student with unlimited chances. Take a test and look at the questions missed and read the explanation! Also, I have assigned each student 3 assignments that give them practice in their lowest areas from the year. USA Test Prep also has games to play.
4. Milestones Study Guide
This is a study guide with vocabulary words and definitions, maps, and review questions. Quiz each other! Highlight the vocabulary words you know, and continue to do so, as you study and learn them. You will be surprised how much you will remember! Below are the questions and an answer key...these are sample questions from the state!
